Since year 2000 Cemp is manufacturing flameproof electric motors certified in compliance with the
European Directive ATEX (94/9 EC) and with Euronorm EN 50.014, 50.018, 50.019.
Cemp besides the standard product, offers a consulting and engineering service to offer "made-tomeasure"
special motors to customer requirements. In over forty years of activity it has supplied the
market with more than a million units. They work in chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical
plants, in refineries, thermoelectric plants, mines, offshore oil platforms, oil pipelines, gas pipelines,
on board ships, printing machines and other industrial environments; wherever it is necessary to
prevent from explosions and fires due to gases, powders or inflammable liquids.
